All training sessions, in person and online, are offered on weekends to allow you to continue to work and participate in your week-to-week life while completing the training. Weekend sessions are spaced out every 3-5 weeks allowing you time to integrate what you learn into your regular yoga practice and day-to-day life. The online yoga anatomy and yoga philosophy sessions allow you to study these topics from the comfort of your home and include 20 90-minute live stream classes held on Saturdays, and 20 30-minute on-demand supporting videos. (For specific information on the individual online sessions please visit our events page).
Between in person training weekends, you are expected to maintain a regular yoga practice and will have 2-4 hours of OMwork assignments. Upon completion of this 200 hour training you will receive your Tula Institute of Yoga Teacher Certification and be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-200 (Registered Yoga Teacher). Tula Institute of Yoga is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance.

“The 200hr-YTT program at Posabilities, AKA the Tula Institute, has been a place of support, personal growth and a deeper understanding of what Yoga is. The level of training and attention to detail provided by Katey was lovingly presented and thorough. I feel not only ready to teach others, more importantly, I feel like a better person connected to who I really am, who I want to be, and how I want to show up in the world. Her understanding and teaching of anatomy and physiology make her an expert on how to move the body in safe and beneficial ways, and that level of teaching is not typical in other YTT programs.” -Rose H
“My 200-hour yoga teacher training at the Tula Institute of Yoga was more than I could have anticipated. Katey is a wonderful person and extremely knowledgeable teacher. Her vast knowledge in many areas has made a huge difference in the level of confidence I have as a new teacher. She made us trainees feel very supported and created an extremely supportive atmosphere in which we could so easily learn and grow. Our group deeply bonded from the get-go, and I believe that was thanks to the environment Katey created.” -Ree R
