The Tula Institute of Yoga 200-Hour Yoga Intensive Teacher Training
This program is a comprehensive Yoga Alliance approved 200-hour level program, perfect for students wishing to deepen their study and practice of yoga, as well as those wanting to become Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT).
The Tula Institute 200-hour training includes 160-hours of in-person training and 40 hours of online training. (160 hour in-person module, 20 hour online Yoga Philosophy module, 20 hour online Yoga anatomy & movement module). These modules can be completed concurrently, or independently in any order. If you wish to receive your Yoga Teacher Certification, all three must be completed within 2 years of starting your 1st module *.
This yoga intensive teacher training is a Vinyasa yoga-based training with a focus on making Vinyasa accessible to a spectrum of body types and individual needs, resulting in a well-balanced understanding of yoga for health and healing at all levels of the being. The curriculum includes an in-depth study and understanding of asana (yoga poses), pranayama (breathwork), meditation, philosophy, anatomy, as well as self-inquiry.
Through this program you will have the opportunity to deepen your connection to self and others, as you increase strength and suppleness in your physical body. You will experience greater calm and equanimity of your thoughts and emotions, and connect with a sense of greater ease and joy of the spirit.
For those wishing to go on to teach, or those wishing to deepen their practice, you will gain an understanding of proper technique, alignment, and sequencing of asana. You will learn the role of the eight limbs of yoga in finding greater ease in your life and supporting others in doing the same.
* During the COVID-19 pandemic, allowances will be made if greater than two years are needed to complete all three modules.

The 2 – 20-hour online training modules allow you to study from the comfort of your home and includes 10 90-minute live stream classes and 10 30-minute on-demand supporting videos. The 160-hour in-person training module is offered as a weekend format allowing students to continue to work and participate in their week-to-week lives while completing the training. The intervals between In-person training weekends allows students time to integrate what they learn into their regular yoga practice and their day-to-day lives.
Between in-person trainings, students are expected to maintain a regular yoga practice and will have 2-4 hours of OMwork assignments. Upon completion of the 3 training modules students will receive their Tula Institute of Yoga Teacher Certification and will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-200 (Registered Yoga Teacher). Tula Institute of Yoga is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance.
